Study Stats for Piano World ABF recital# 17 submission – Solfeggietto

OK,  so here’s my summary study ‘stats’ for Solfeggietto.   Cut to the chase, it was a little over 18 hours.

This piece is a great finger workout and kind of “horizontal” (lots of arps, scales and run work in contrast with all the “vertical harmonies and part work in the Buson-Bach).

I took  fair few liberties with the tempo, some of these were even on purpose.

One strange thing, I can’t seem to play the beginning any faster, but the end becomes a sort of  shred fest…. (even though their almost identical).
